What we learned from the past two games:
The Power Play was business as usual – brutal. There wasn’t a whole lot going for the Power Play. They barely got to puck into the zone. Absolutely miserable to watch. Honestly, I’d like to see Klein and Yandle as a pair on the point. Yandle facilitates and Klein hits the whammy button.
The Rangers found a way to get a win. Scoring the first goal on the road in both games was HUGE. The Rangers just kind of held on to the lead in the ‘Hawks game while they found themselves down with just under 4 minutes to play against the ‘Jackets. That’s what championship teams do – Find a way to win. I’m not calling the Rangers Stanley Cup champs for winning two games on the road but boy 'o boy did they fight for the first two wins of the season.
Speaking of fight – did you see that kid Lindberg. My god is he good. I think I might have to rethink the breakout players of the year and make him my fourth player to watch.

ZUCCCCCC being ZUCCCCCC. He’s back to in season form after that scary head injury. I don’t know if Pressers are his thing with the answer “I don’t know, I just close my eyes and I score” about his backhander goal. Zucc and his line mates responded well to the criticism from AV, however the stats might say otherwise due to some shady stats on behalf of the ‘Jacket team. For example, Nash had about 4-6 shots and got credit with just one.
On another note, the Dan Boyle signing might go down with the Redden, Gomez, and Drury signings – another player past his prime, paid way too much, to cough up dust while getting burnt like toast by 18 year olds. I mean seriously, Boyle let’s figure it out and take off the cement shoes you’re wearing and get it into gear, which is if you can.
